Trish, I know what you mean about the hexagram for “The Army.” I can’t identify with an army. If you click on the image it will take you to my “Meditations” version of The Army where I use the chess board as the symbol – which the game of chess actually is about, the king, the queen, the bishop, etc. I think of “The Army” as a focused discipline to achieve some task where one has to sacrifice in some way. Think about the discipline it takes to stay on any kind of diet. It is a sacrifice in one arena to acheive in another.
