What a beautiful painting. Love the duality (of course!). Have you ever tried ichingonline.net? Am curious what you think of the interps.

    • Thanks Trish. I just went to that site. I cast a reading. It is quite similar to Wilhelm so they must have used that as the basis of meaning. I find all those ads on the page distracting although I can’t blame them for making money. Recently I’ve been reading two books about the history of the I Ching by Richard J. Smith and keep thinking to write something about some conclusions I have come to. But then I go back to trying to get my own work done. Your question makes me think about this issue some more. When I first discovered the I Ching, 40+ years ago there were not nearly so many books out there about the I Ching. Now there are many. Some are good, others, not. I have discovered that so many people think that their I Ching is the “right” one. Not so. It belongs to everyone and has been around for longer than my mind can imagine in terms of just how old this wonderful tool is. You have me thinking.
