I have been so busy getting through the challenges of moving as well as the extra tasks it takes when moving out of state that I still have not been able to get back to my work on I Ching Meditations and hexagram 17, Following. I do a reading every morning asking what my I Ching Prescription is for the day. I decided to post my “prescriptions” since I do have most of the paintings of the Chinese characters and all of the Prescriptions.

My Prescription for today was, hexagram 44, Coming to Meet with the top line changing to hexagram 28, Preponderance of the Great which I call, Over Load/Crisis. What I have to meet is that I have spotted one of those bulls eye marks on my arm that looks like one of those tick bites that cause Lyme’s disease. So as soon as I post this I am off to meet a doctor and see just how much of a crisis this is.

  1. Trish – can you explain what you mean by that you wonder about hexagrams 1 and 2?

I always wonder about hexagrams 1 and 2,the big conundrums.

  3. I know what you mean about hexagram 28. As always it all depends on the subjective situation.

I’ve always liked hex 44. Can’t say I’m nuts about 28, though. My guess is that it isn’t a crisis, just a result of some kind from this major transition – the move.
