Six in the First Place

Whether by choice or accident of fate,
taking on more than one is able to do is a learning experience.
Be humble. Take care to lay the foundation to help you though this event.
Ask yourself, “what is MY foundation that guides me though
the process of standing alone in difficult times?”

Spending my life as an artist was never a choice.
My first ever lasting influence was when I discovered
the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh at age 14.
I have been “in over my head” ever since. Some time later
I fell into that vast pool of wisdom and mysteries of the I Ching.
Vincent Van Gogh and I Ching
have been a foundation of learning that able me to
gratefully accept being in over my head.

Six in the First place changes to hexagram 43.

Thanks Trish. Do you mean this is one of your favorite lines in the I Ching or favorites of my images? Since this is a not so easy line to deal with, I am guessing you mean the image with my darling Vincent.

  2. Spectacular!an exciting departure. So glad you are copyrighting your images at last.

This beautiful and surreal art work is also a puzzle . There\’s a black woman sitting in the famous painting by Van Gough of his room . Or is it a black woman ? . She seems to be looking down at a white woman\’s body . Hands in arms , not sure what to do . And who would know what to do in this situation ? . She needs a cogon grass mat by the bed , and step lightly into the day as daily ceremony . The new day will forever bring whatever it will . !
