Adele with her cat, Magic

Adele with her cat, Magic

I have been making pictures since the crib, beginning by using an unmentionable medium that I used to paint the wall.  I call myself a Media Don Juana, loving all of mediums, and going from one to the other from time to time. However since the birth of the Macintosh in January of 1984, I have been mostly stuck in the black hole of computer graphics.  At the moment, to satisfy my need for more tactile experiences I enjoy dabbling with origami and I love to cook. I have two religions. I have been hooked into the I Ching since 1970. I love and worship cats. And Jazz is where its at.

Hello, This is Ping from China, I am focus on the subconscious area and a student of I Ching too. you have really done great in art image than us…. amazing for these wonderful photos..I bought your books too.

I am wondering if I can use your photo to share with my students when I explain I ching? Or share it in the blog? I think they’d love it, and easier to understand the “dry words”. (Or pay for u maybe?)After all, I ching is a little “boring” and difficult to learn. Tarot is more popular here.

Or maybe there is a chance to cooperate in the feature? (I am good at Chinese and original explain)To be honest, I think it is wonderful if the photo could be use in China!

Please let me know if I can do something for you too… I am using 6 hexagram for divination too, It could be get more information than 6 lines itself, explain by using the five elements&twelve earthly branches….

Finally, really appreciate to know you and email woth you, thanks

    Hi Adele,
I wanted to say thanks for the great inspirational designs and pictures of the Hexagram.
They are so awesome that I ordered 2 deck of cards a while ago on MakePlayingCards.com, hoping it will be delivered to me soon in Singapore in Dec 🙂
I would also like to check if it is possible for me to use the photos of your hexagrams when I share divination readings for friends and others? I would also appreciate if I could get a downloadable PDF copy of the I-Ching Record Book.
Its Thanksgiving Holidays so thank you again for the great inspiration designs that you have shared on the I-Ching Hexagrams and may you have a blessed Thanksgiving Holidays.

    Thank you.

  5. According to Wilhelm’s translation/interpretation in line 2 he says:

“The water itself is clear but it is not being used. Thus the well is a place where only fish will stay, and whoever comes to it, comes only to catch fish. But the jug is broken so the fish cannot be kept in it.”

    Alfred Huang says:
“… The water cannot flow from the bottom up to the top, so it flows away.”

I ought to write KILROY WAS HERE, just to know you would laugh. I will instead write to those who read here after I post. I have the honor and privilege of living across the way from Adele, a highly intelligent, entertaining, gracious and lovely lady. I could go on with the adjectives! She’s a gem!

Hello again Adele and thank you for your response,

I’m in full agreement with you on the internet’s many distractions! lol I’ll just have to check in here all the time and maybe post some links back to your blog from my facebook to get people talking. ???

I pulled an short section from Katya Walter’s Tao of Chaos explaining the Tai Chi symbol and transformed it into an article that I posted here on facebook… http://www.facebook.com/note.p.....038;ref=mf

I love the way she explained it. Kind of one of those aha moments.
Anyhow, peek in and comment if you can make the time.

I hope you’re having an amazing day!

    Randy

Thanks for your comment, Randy. I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to leave a comment.
Yes, I am on FaceBook but I don’t have time to keep myself “busy” there, as you said. So much to do and the Internet has a zillion distractions.

      #11 and # 14 to you too. ♥
      Adele
