The Image of Heaven Over Water

Hexagram six - Conflict, Image

Conflicting needs pull me down into deep waters.
Weakened by conflict life becomes a mirror of different selves fighting for expression.
I pause to seek guidance or through introspection I turn to my own wisdom in meditation.
When I can listen to all voices I restore myself to harmony and can act without conflict.

Hexagram six - Six in the First Place

Six in the First Place

When I hear the first hum of those inner voices
I do not speak them.
I don’t admit that a conflict exists.

Hexagram Six - Nine in the Second Place

Nine in the Second Place

I do not blame others nor tell them my doubts.
I retreat into the conflict of my inner self.

Hexagram Six - Six in the Third Place

Six in the Third Place

When my work is worn as a crown of creativity
I find who I am in the reflection of the other’s mirror.

Hexagram Six - Nine in the Fourth Place

Nine in the Fourth Place

The more I resist my conflict the stronger it becomes.
Finally . . .
I accept what I do not like in myself and submit to this truth.

Hexagram Six - Nine in the Fifth Place

Nine in the Fifth Place

At the peak of conflict I seek guidance of my higher self.

Hexagram Six - Nine in the Last Place

Nine in the Last Place

All that I resist persists!
When I cannot dissolve a conflict I project it onto others.
And then I am bound to meet it as I see my face in theirs.
